Built as a Flutter-based cross-platform mobile app for iOS and Android, with a web dashboard powered by React.js and Next.js, a Node.js and Python backend, and OpenAI-driven intelligence for dispatch optimization and anomaly detection — all persisted in MongoDB. The system is HL7 International compliant, fully HIPAA compliant, and the only medication delivery platform in the industry with SOC2 certification.

The Story

Rx2Go was built to solve one of healthcare's most overlooked challenges — reliable, safe, and trackable last-mile delivery of prescription medicines. Traditional courier services lacked HIPAA compliance, real-time visibility, and integration with pharmacy management systems. Rx2Go changed that by building a purpose-made platform for pharmacies that handles everything from delivery scheduling and route optimization to patient notifications and electronic proof of delivery. Today, Rx2Go serves pharmacies across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, California, Florida, and Ohio — and has successfully delivered over 15 million prescriptions.

Our Approach

We developed Rx2Go as a Flutter-based cross-platform mobile app delivering a consistent, high-performance experience for drivers on both iOS and Android. The web dashboard is built with React.js and Next.js, giving pharmacy staff and dispatchers a powerful, real-time command center. Node.js and Python microservices handle core delivery logic, integrations, and business rules, while OpenAI powers intelligent dispatching, anomaly detection, and route suggestions. MongoDB serves as the primary data store for its flexibility across varied delivery and patient data schemas. The entire platform is designed API-first — enabling seamless two-way integration with leading pharmacy software including PrimeRx, PioneerRx, BestRx, Epic, Liberty, and many others.
