Purse Money provides a seamless multi-wallet experience that lets users open sub-accounts in 30+ currencies, send money internationally in under 5 minutes, and redefine spending with instant virtual card creation — all powered by a robust API for business integrations.

The platform is built as a cross-platform mobile app using Flutter for iOS and Android, backed by a modern web stack including React.js, Next.js, and Node.js, with Python and OpenAI powering intelligent financial features, and MongoDB as the primary database. The result is a fast, secure, and scalable global payments experience for both consumers and enterprises.

The Story

Purse Money was built to solve a real and persistent problem — the high cost and complexity of cross-border payments. Traditional financial institutions charge hidden fees, offer poor exchange rates, and make international transfers slow and frustrating. Purse Money flips this by offering real exchange rates, zero hidden charges, and the ability to hold and manage 30+ currencies from a single app. Whether you are an individual sending money home or a business paying suppliers overseas, Purse Money makes it simple, fast, and fair.

Our Approach

We built Purse Money as a Flutter-based cross-platform mobile application to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience on both iOS and Android. The backend is powered by a combination of Node.js and Python microservices, with Next.js and React.js handling the web platform. OpenAI is integrated to bring intelligent features to users, while MongoDB provides a flexible, scalable data layer. The architecture was designed from the ground up to be API-first, allowing businesses to integrate Purse Money's payment rails directly into their own platforms via our OTC and API systems.
